CALIN's journey began in 2006 with the development of a new generation of CPU-card electronic prepaid kilowatt-hour meters for China State Grid. More than 1,000,000 of these meters are in operation as revenue-protection devices for utilities and service providers in China and other markets. Shenzhen Calinmeter Co., Ltd. was established on November 6, 2015 in Guangming District, Shenzhen. Its experienced R&D team now supports conventional and prepaid electricity, water, gas and heat meters; wireless meters; collectors and concentrators; vending and management systems; AMR/AMI solutions; communication modules and interfaces; meter boxes; OEM electronic design; and associated consulting, training and support.
